You will learn

• In the morning session, we will explore the fundamental science of light, looking into its basic principles, the interplay of light and shadow, and grasping its intangibility. We will discuss the significance of light in our daily lives and its impact on emotional wellbeing. Through a hands-on exercise, we will investigate the effects of both good and bad lighting. 

• In the afternoon, we will look at the Lighting Toolkit, covering techniques such as layering, colour rendering, and finding the equilibrium between decorative and architectural lighting. Interactive exercises, group discussions, and visualisations will enhance your comprehension of these concepts.

• The latter part of the workshop will focus on representing light, employing examples and visualisation techniques. I will guide you through a real project, detailing its journey from concept to implementation while considering factors such as functionality, aesthetics, sustainability, and client needs. To conclude the workshop, we will have an open forum for questions and discussions, and personalised insights. Bring your enthusiasm and questions as we unravel the secrets of light together.
